First, you seem to have already made up your mind - that they are trying to steal information from you. You just need couple of "Yeah" reply from here.

You mentioned they are a big company, and if this guy try to do that to me, he is dead.

Call him again about the interview. Type record the call (everything from now on). Ask for time, schedule, and how many people involving in the interview.

If there are multiple people meet you, then it will not probably be as bad as you think. If only him, then raise the red flag to highest level.

Call HR and his boss to ask if there is such opening position. If not, you might choose to tell them the fishy behavior from this guy, or you can continue to play.

Still go if you want to play. Record the interview secretly, and gather information for a fraud.

After this, you can call him direct (still record) and tell him you know he is playing a game with you. You have the proof, and you have contacted HR etc. And you will report all this to his boss and his company. It will be fun to see how he react. Remember, all these are still on type!
