Summary:
Financial research firm seeks an experienced Quant Analyst to join their team and function as a project leader/manager for an existing team of professionals.

Responsibilities:
Understand/consolidate wide array of stock data
Write programs to investigate hypotheses
Build clear stock ranking models that reliably beat the market
Develop/test hypotheses, acquiring insights from research
Build/test models
Understand analyst reports, review financial statements, and program complex financial models

Qualification/Experience:
Master's degree in Engineering/Mathematics/Sciences/Computer Science/Econ/Business/Finance required
PhD preferred
Prior work experience in the financial services industry helpful
Understanding of financial statements and data
Excellent communication skills with ability to deliver presentations to both internal/external audiences regarding financial information
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required
Strong programming experience required
Strong experience with statistical software required
Experience working with large databases required
Experience writing research papers strongly preferred

Compensation:
Commensurate with experience.
