yeah Yahoo has its own grid computing platform,

and quite a lot things are accomplished in grid. However, Yahoo's grid computing is more of utility computing (using the clusters like gas, power, etc.).

Yahoo also develops some open source grid computing software, but the concept/theory was from google.
