Is it common sense?

Is it common sense that you keep people communicated if you need their help? Do you like surprises like this? -- in particular the kind of surprises that others have to pay for? In particular in a time other people need to fight to guard themselves?

I've seen this kind of things too often among Chinese people:), so can we say (at least some of them) deserve to be spun off?:)

Question: is it in your interest to stay? If so, does "do anything possible" for that purpose serve your interest? Who cares more than yourself about yourself?

Another question: Is it clear the folks are really very nice to you, and have done really good for you? Do you need to show appreciation and gratitude for that, so you help yourself by securing help from them in the future?

Even more question: Is it clear that it's good to take the aid, by show appreciation and gratitude, then talk about other possible options, and see how they think?

Remember: Be strategic, and keep things simple and straight!
