She should be hired at all -- the other lady was on board before her, if she does not like this woman, then this woman should not be hired.

We never heard anything from the other lady, so we have no idea about her character, personality.... stuff. What we can see is that this woman keeps put up non-sense, so to keep things simple and straight, her director (if a decent one) should be able to see the easiest solution: let this woman go.

BTW, I'm sure you know, it does not have anything to do with which woman has been better educated, programming a little bit faster.... kind of stuff, nobody in this world cannot be replaced, in particular, this woman looks like a newbie -- which means she's going to cost some resources for training at job, then why bother? It's obvious.
