Can I still get the job or not

Thank you all for your inputs for my last week's posts.

Last Wednesday I had a face-to face interview from 9:30 to 11:00 am. Starting Wednesday afternoon they started reference checking. Reference checking was done on Thursday afternoon. I knew this because all my references called me to let me know it.

Today it's Wednesday again, so far I have not received any words from the hiring compnay. Do you guys think I still have hope? So stressful now. My supervisor is my reference. We are having very good relationship. He asked me to update my job procedure yeaterday to make me feel I am leaving soon. So stressful!

I am currently employed, just want to move to the city my wife is working. Now 3 members of our family are in 3 cities. My kid is in college. I commuate each weekend. It's not very convenient.

Any inputs are welcomed.
