I never said anything about forgetting the past.

I am a believer of 以史為鏡可以明得失 my entire life. All I am saying is China needs to do better in the new world, understand the strength and weakness of itself. It is understandable that China doesn't like where Japan is heading to, but how to counteract is another story. I personally think this whole thing is a way Chinese communist party to diffuse the tension within China.
