Even battleground states as a whole, Romney has slight edge from today's Politico/GWU polls (49% to 47%). But looking at it state by state, Obama seems still lead over Romney in Ohio and Pennsylvania (about 5%). If Romney doesn't lose big in tonight's debate, those 2 states are still winable. The key for both teams are turn out votes in the coming weeks.
