Cluff Gold, which is focused on West Africa and has a market capitalisation of 129 million pounds ($207 million), said on Wednesday that Samsung would provide it with a $20 million facility which it will use to help develop a project in Burkina Faso.
In return, Samsung C&T, a much larger company valued at $9 billion, will have access to a supply of gold bullion at a 2.25 percent discount to the price of the metal on the day prior to delivery, Cluff Gold said.
