北京遭遇失敗，Hague法庭決定審理南中國海爭端

菲利賓就南中國海爭端起訴中國，中國認為：這是有關領土的爭端，不在Hague法庭的司法範圍。

Hague法庭裁定： 按照聯合國海洋法（the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) ， 它有權受理菲利賓的起訴。中國決定不參與，並不能剝奪它的裁決。
