Your observation is correct.

I think Chinese are going through a reverse evolution process and are heading back towards animal kingdom by shedding the human traits. During this process, they are losing the ability to appreciate any complex feelings and apprehend  anything abstract in nature. As the end result, they can only indulge themselves with food and sex.
