Partially Fixed Bumper by Hot Water

 

Using hot water to fix a dented bumper partially.

I used two pots: one was for pouring water on the bumper outdoors; the othe was for making hot water indoors while the other was used for pouring and after hot water was poured off they exchange their roles.                                                                    

Started at 10:18 am, today (I did not take a picture before the treatment, it was worse than it at the picture below).

After the first pot of water, 10:27 am, today:

at 10:30 am (notice that the red line was angled and there was a dent between the two arrows):

Used more than 10 pots of hot water for more than two hours.

After the last pot of water, 12:59 pm, today (notice: the angle on the red line disappeared; the dent below the red line also disappeared):

I called it "partially fixed", because I could not fix the dent on the upper right side of the red line.

Around 6 or 7 years ago, I successfully fixed a dented bumper (but it was not seriously dented like this one).
