The fact was at the time when I talked to the sales adviser(a black lady) and I offered 49,0000. She said it is too low. However she would like to share the offer with her sales general manager, an asian lady. Once the sales general manager saw me and realized that I had bought two BMWs years ago with offers of 48,000 and 43,000. I guess she kind of feels that I am a person who is honest and straight forward. There is no negotiation but sale or not sale. Yes I would still buy that car if the sales general manager asked for 5,000 dollars more. I need to buy a car and I like that car. I shared with them that I have to buy a car right now in one or two days and I love that car.
I guess you've got to be honest with the sales person just as the sales person should be honest to you a buyer. Of course as a buyer you should be firm with your offer with knowing what you want. You can offer a bit of more money if you really like to buy something. Trust yourself and trust sales person as well. You want to buy a car and sales person wants to sell car. No cheat no trick it is a win win deal.
