Is it safe to Firestone than Honda Dealer to change brake pad?

My Honda accord is 3 years old, no warranty any more, but only 17,000 miles. 

Deal told me

1. rear brake pads, $190, 

2. Brake system fluid exchange is $80.

Is it safe to go to  Firestone to change Brake and Brake system fluid?  I guess they should be cheaper comparing to Honda Dealer. 



 Is it easy to get these done?
