thanks a lot, Ban Zhang. To be honest, I just want to buy a similar car as CRV, cheaper, reliable for my son, he is going to college this fall and needs a car next year, 2014. He likes small car, such as Malibu, but for the safety (6 hours from College to home), my friend strongly recommend a SUV. And as you know, the kids possibly like American cars, also, we already have two Japanese cars. At first, I also thought about Escape, but this year, the first model seems to have some problems with engine fire, then I give up. 

all my friends in the states I know have Japanese cars, so I could not learn anything from them, and have to be here to seek for opinions. I will buy one very soon, hopefully this weekend, and keep you updated.

Just FYI: we bought CRV brand new 2008, now it is 110,000 km, zero problem, just rountine maintenance.
