What made you say that the pressure was 0? the pressure switch cuts off the current to the clutch when the pressure drops to a point,doesn't have to be 0. It looks like that the pressure is not 0, your left over can doesn't have enough pressure to overcome the interor pressure in the system anymore, once you open it it leaks, only an unopen can has enough pressure to fill in.
