here is another thing I figured out

Since the rubber hose connects the heater inside the car, by plugging it with my finger but leaving the metal tube on the engine open, while I vacummed, it could suck out some coolant in the block if not all, but the other way around could could suck out the coolant in the heater.

Indeed, rotated plugging of the hose/tube, I sucked out some.
