update of the engine problem

thank so much for everyone's reply.

the dealer just said the engine is junk now, need new engine(he didn't give exact diagnosis) .he said the auto shop seems didn't do anything wrong.

My current problem is to find a new car asap. any suggestion for a safe, solid car, or small SUV? we live in the east (hilly, sometimes big snow in winter)
