not sure how you drove your 328 but

the 328 has the same engine as the 528, and 328 is lighter. You see more boy racers driving the 3 series at pretty high speeds and personally I found it a lot of fun driving the 3 series loaner I had from the dealer. I have to set a warning beep for my 528 xdrive at 80 m/h to make sure I don't go too fast during my commute.
