Well, to me the two are not comparable,

but both are great vehicles.

Escalade can easily double the price of an Enclave, but it's a Cadillac:))

Some considerations other than price difference:

Escalade: true large SUV, so it's on a truck platform, you almost have to get V8 to get a good performance. Make sure you have an extra deep garage, cause it won't fit in a regular one. Not sure how your wife's driving skill is, but some girls may not feel comfortable parking a truck:))

Enclave: very reliable crossover, on a lower platform, has all the Buick blingblings, very smooth drive and quiet. Nice interiors, make sure you get the panoramic moon roof.
