Prius is no designed for long range cruise...

Its battery power will run out in 5-10 miles if the car is driven at that speed when there is head wind or going uphill. After that, the car is solely on its gasoline engine. And it may not reach 80 mph. Basically, you are driving a Corolla with a Yaris engine in that situation, and don't expect any passing power either.
