Of course, you can have service at small independent shops, but please try to do it at experienced honest shop. The service cost depends on what kind of maintenance service on your car. At dealer the prices about two years ago were: 5k is about $50, 15K $250, and 30k $470. The price varies in defferent dealers and locations. So you have to check prices at your local dealers and shops. Price is not everything. Good service is more important in long run.
