You can ask the buyer to pay you cash or cashier check. I just sold my mini van. Thanks to craiglist. In my State (PA), seller only need to sign on the title and give the title to buyer, no need to go to DMV. But I suggest you go with the buyer if you have time make sure your title is transfered.
