Looks like he needs to change CV joint outer boot and better get inner boot changed as well; also the lower control arm joint boot (dust cover) needs to be replaced for it's ripped already. My thinking is that he needs to loose up the drive shaft nut and the shaft first; clear out the brake caliper and bracket, then hammer drive the lower control arm ball joint separator fork till it's separated.
BTW, does any one know what vehicle he is working on? Just curious. I don't.Have fun guys. Happy Independence Day.
