I'd recommend a 2008 MB e350 for your budget.

I got one for under 30K. Expect to pay 10-15% more for a MB certified. It blows away the TL and the BMW328 I had. Purely luxury and one of the most safer cars. 2008 and newer e350s are fairly reliable as well.
