空擋滑行 is a very bad idea

If you read any car's manual, you will see all manufacturers are against 空擋滑行. It will reduce the life of automatic transmission.

When in Neutral, the engine could easily stall and you will lose all power braking, power steering etc.

Don't do that again. You are losing a dollar to save a penny.
