..need to be changed. But some one said that it needs to be changed regularly which is totally untrue. As the author pointed out in the article in the very beginning "Do in at your own risk", this job is very dangerous and may cause a fire and burn down your vehicle, so it should be performed only when there is a reasonable doubt that the filter is dirty and clogged.
