06 HONDA PILOT vs. Odyssey ?

Thanks a lot for the above inputs. I was struggling between 2005 or later pilot and odyssey. I'm looking for a family van initially. The serious transmission problems of Odyssey scared me or it would be my first choice. So it seems 2005 or newer Odyssey has no that transmission issue any longer, right ?
