From TV to car and 1000 of other things

Same issue.

You will notice that quality is going down in the last 10 yrs.

I had a Hitachi rear proj TV, used only 3 yrs. I asked a guy who did repair, he said all parts are coming from the same place, doesn't matter what brand it is.
