Toyota's solid reputation does not come from nowhere.

A car is a car, it will have problem sooner or later.
Toyota did really good job on quality control for the last 30 years.

I admit Toyota has some design flaw, just like Ford-Explorer-FireStone issue. But this will make Toyota more cautious on its products.

Once my wife is tired of her 2004 RAV4, I will consider
to get another Toyota RAV4.
