For a car at 12 yo age, it's not uncommon the modulator shot

The door modulator is prone to shot due to contacts being oxided over years. If you are a diy person, you can take it out, de-assemable it and clean all contacts with "deOxit", otherwise, go get a new one.

I did mine twice on my MBs.
