Where is you friend? If in midwest, there are less used MB from private party, so she probably needs to go to dealer. If in California, a lot of used MB are on Craigslist selling by owner, which are definitely cheaper than from dealer. Also, I guess your friend doesn't need some three-month or six-month warranty from dealer.
