My car had some noise, then I sent it to a garage to check, The person in the garage checked and told me I need to change the front brakepad and back drums and disks. I just asked them to change the front pads. Then I went to a bank to get some cash since they told me they don't accept credit card. To my surprise they finished work when I came back ( It was only 10 min or so).
After that my car has a noise like "zi--" when I loose the brake. And I feel the back part of my car has some "guang dang" noise when I pass a bumper.
Should new brake pads have "zi--" noise? It only happens when I loose brake. And even I turn off my car, stay in a place, only press brake, I can hear "zi--" when I loose it. It sounds from middle back of my car. Any experts have suggestion about it?
Another weird thing is when I asked the guy when I should change the pads again, he said "6 months". I can't help thinking the possibility that he cheated me. I just don't know how. Maybe I should stay watching them work.
Please give me some suggestion. Thanks a lot.
Brake noise, please help.
