"A stuck open accelerator pedal may result in very high vehicle speeds and make it difficult to stop the vehicle, which could cause a crash," the company said in a statement.

“The recall will affect 2007-2010 model year Toyota Camry, 2005-2010 Toyota Avalon, 2004-2009 Toyota Prius, 2005-2010 Tacoma, 2007-2010 Toyota Tundra, 2007-2010 Lexus ES350 and 2006-2010 Lexus IS250 and IS350.”

上次開豐田死的那個巡警在無線電裏和911的談話明確表示油門卡死，情況緊急。從這次事故之後，豐田再也無法抵賴這個設計缺餡，但是，前些日子仍然說由於司機放兩塊腳墊，會導致油門踩下之後卡死，以此來推脫以前的多起油門卡死事故。這次終於承認自己的車有致命缺陷，但是仍然狡辯說是開極高速才有的問題，難道豐田不在德國賣麽？。
