car total loss offer

Hi,

My car was rear ended.
Since repair fee is over car value, I got two options from insurance company:;
1)Not keeping car
2)Keep car.
The pay check is different between 1) and 2).
For option 2), the title needs to change to salvage title.
Which option is better ?
