Easy to tell you have not tested the 5-series yet.

4) Audi. ...As well their emphasis on their quattro driving system can be seen an equal or better alternative to BMW and Merc rear wheel drive systems.

Almost all auto makes offer 4-wheel or all-wheel drive. Whether quattro is a superior form of AWD is debatable. But I believe Audi is one of the relatively less reliable german marques as a stastistical fact.
