Do I have to change fan belt?

Just bought a car (2001 buick regal). The result of mechanical check shows that fan belt cracks (estimated repair cost is $85, part & labor). I googled and found it is also called accessory belt. I guess it's different from Serpentine Belt.

Is it easy to DIY to replace it?
