A question about the DANA Axle

I just wonder why people want DANA axle.

When differential is locked, both wheel rotates at same
rpm. Now the torque that was evenly distributed to both wheels may be distributed to one wheel only,
This puts more stress on the axle, so DANA can help at this time because it is tougher.

But what if the wheel that did not have traction suddenly regained traction? In this situation, the axle
will suffer a big impact, but since DANA 44 is so tought, it would not break and will actually transfer
this tremendous power to transfer case or transmission,
causing more expensive damage.

My amateture head right think we should actually downgrade the axel to weaker one so it protects transmission and transfer case.

I think my idea is totally wrong, but can you explain
a little bit to me?
