Help on driving without insurance card

I just got two tickets, one for drop off passage other than curl side(39:4-65), another one for without insurance card (3-29), I have insurance, just forget to bring it with me, I try to pay off the ticket but I was told I need to go to the court,
I just wonder,
do I need to get a lawyer?
will I get point?
what should I pay attention to?
