You are so lucky ... to keep your electronics in good order. They are really good. Now I can tell you what the problem was. The store didn't install the battery properly such that an unnecessary eletrical resistence is formed around the battery connectors. You re-connect the connectors and the problem is gone.

Note: This explanation is valid only when you don't experience the same problem in the next week.
