Right now the consensus is Hybrid cars save gas but not money

Cons: 1. You usually pay around 3000$ more to buy it.
2. The battery pack will be expensive to replace in about 10 years.

Pros:
1.If you can get some credit from government,then it's better.
2.battery cost may go down after 10 years
3. If it is plug-in hybrid, you can save more money by charging your car everyday.
