Need help with my 07 Volvo xc70. Noise after car is off.

I have this car for three month. Today when I turned off the car I heard a loud noise under the hood. It sounds like a fan running. It only ran for about 30 seconds and was off. It happened twice today. Anybody knows what's going on? Thanks a lot!
