An applicant must be outside Australia at the time of applying for an ETA and should hold passport from any of the following eligible countries.

Austria	Canada	Denmark	Finland	France	Germany
Greece	HongKong	Iceland	Ireland	Italy	Japan
Korea	Malaysia	Netherlands	Norway	Portugal	Singapore
Spain	Sweden	Switzerland	U.K.	USA
