最拿手的蛋糕,Chiffon Cake

1 3/4 cups flour

1 tbsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

1/2 cup white sugar

1/2 cup vegetable oil

6 eggs seperated

3/4 cup water

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 tsp cream of tartar

3/4 cup sugar

Mix flour, baking powder, salt and 1/2 white sugar in a large bowl. Make a well in the center, add vegetable oil.

You can seperate the egg using your fingers.

Add cream of tartar to the egg whites. Beat until soft peak forms, then add the remaining sugar. Beat until shiny and hard peak can stand up.

While beating the egg whites, add water and vanilla and mix up the dry ingredients until smooth. Then add the 1/3 of the beaten egg whites to cake batter and slowly fold in the egg whites.

Fold in the remaining egg whites.

Line the baking pan with aluminum foil before pouring in the cake batter. Preheat oven to 350F and bake for 1 hour or until a tooth pick comes out clean.
