For anyone who doesnt know John Brown: John Brown was one of the first white Americans in the United States to fight for abolitionism (the process of abolishing slavery). John Brown would go to states where there were known to be many slaves, and he would free the slaves, sometimes arming them with weapons from the towns armory. He did this until they tried him in court and sentenced him to death, but his efforts played a major part in the abolition of slavery.

For context, John Brown was an abolitionist who participated in events like the Potawatomie Massacre and Bleeding Kansas, where he literally fought against slavery.

I love that he said the Bible teaches us to treat all children as our own, and that is the truest thing Ive ever heard. Children are a blessing from God; dont ever throw them out or treat them with disdain
