Lips

To a Drop of Dew

Thank you for waking up my love of the morning
on her lips as if you are the innocent gift straight from night
You are the fresh reminder of the old youth
who could not come up with any fresher idea

To Salt and Pepper

Not sure when you two became twin
Did it happen before or after bread and butter?
The daily touch up we don't seem to care
wouldn't seem to get away easily
For my words and their shadow of thoughts
they become less tasteful
without your warm lips

To Hunches

Each of us hide in a mirage of you in bunches
trying to present the best possible images of ourselves
Despite of makeup, dress-up, etiquette, smiles
we leave you lot more conflicting statements or traits
as we react beyond enactment
Unless we try extra hard to simplify
to let you mirror our soul
straight from our hearts
via doctrines of believes, practices
or simply observe
Observe the nature how to present you around us
an ant, a drop of dew or rain, a piece of cloud or snowflake
Or perhaps one could argue
we, the human being, are the most complex form of you
mother nature presents
These struggles within us are the very you in actions
often with tight lips
