窗戶開著。

燈火閃爍。

水果在碗裏。

你的頭靠在我肩上。

這是一天中最快樂的時刻。

接下來，自然，

是淩晨時光。以及

臨近午餐的時間。

還有下午，和

傍晚時分。

但我真愛

這些夏夜。

甚至超過，我想

其它任何時辰。

一天的工作結束了。

這時沒人能聯係到我們。

或者永遠也不能。

Cool summer nights.
Windows open.
Lamps burning.
Fruit in the bowl.
And your head on my shoulder.
These the happiest moments in the day.

Next to the early morning hours,
of course. And the time
just before lunch.
And the afternoon, and
early evening hours.
But I do love

these summer nights.
Even more, I think,
than those other times.
The work finished for the day.
And no one who can reach us now.
Or ever.
