“90年來的老對手了！你討厭我 我也討厭你。。。這情況沒法改變了。”
這段話是波士頓職業冰球隊的Shawn Thornton接受記者采訪時，提起今晚對蒙特利爾隊的比賽時說的。
本賽季兩支隊打過五場，卻有過12 次 fighting majors, 14 次 roughing minors 和 7次 misconduct penalties！！！
3月8日在蒙特利爾打的那場球對所有冰球迷都永遠是噩夢般的記憶。
第二節將近結束時，身高兩米多體重260磅的後衛隊長chara粗魯地把蒙特利爾隊前鋒MAX PACIORETTY
的頭推到了鐵柱上，把他撞成嚴重腦震蕩和頸椎骨骨裂，眼看PACIORETTY 騰空倒地一動也不動，人事不省地昏迷了好幾分鍾，眼看比賽停下，急救人員把他抬上擔架，
那段時間裏成千上萬電視機前的觀眾是又擔心又氣憤的---太過份了這些野蠻粗魯的動作！直接對運動員的頭部進行的攻擊。。。看那天錄像的分鏡頭慢動作回放，我還以為會至少會給chara一些處分，幾場吊銷之類，萬萬沒想到聯隊卻輕描淡寫地說是正常阻截！！！ 是可忍孰不可忍------這樣的野蠻做法完全可能當場把人撞死，或把一個年輕專業運動員的職業生涯一下子葬送掉的，不予懲罰，天理何在？
事後chara在接受采訪的時候他自己都說：出了這件事，麵對加拿大人隊的球迷，我會感到很不自在。。
不知道今晚等待我們蒙特利爾隊的將是什麽。這真是叫人擔心---隊員們，千萬不能意氣用事！專心打球，贏下兩分就是最好的報仇！

Canadiens jump to a 3-1 lead after the first period and hang on for the win. Gionta nets the winner in this one, too.
Jan. 8 at Montreal: Canadiens 3, Bruins 2 (OT)
Canadiens tie it on goals by Scott Gomez and Gionta in the final 2:22 of regulation and Max Pacioretty wins it in OT.
Feb. 9 at Boston: Bruins 8, Canadiens 6
Carey Price and Tim Thomas tussle in a goalie fight, the officials dole out 182 penalty minutes and Boston wins a wild game at TD Garden.
March 8 at Montreal: Canadiens 4, Bruins 1
Canadiens rookie forward Lars Eller scores twice, but the game is marred by an injury to Pacioretty, who was checked into the padded stanchion between the benches by Zdeno Chara with 15.8 seconds left in the second period.
March 24 at Boston: Bruins vs. Canadiens
Three points separate the teams in the race for first in the Northeast Division.
