這本書講，如何在摒棄傳統的“舍二取一”思維。

Main Points：

1. create 2 opposing models for the solution of a problem

2. examine the 2 models (understand the logic of each model)

根據特點可以畫兩個ladders.  幫助理解。(vivid picture!)

3. 吸取倆個的精華，創造一個新MODEL。3個方法：

   1) Hidden jem (get the best gem from each model and combine to create a new model)

   2) Double-down (find the most valuable jem and double it in the new model)

   3) Decomposition (you will need to break the problem apart and apply one solution to each. “I want all of both.”)

4. 做一個prototype並且進行模型評估 （when trying to communicate a new idea, try using storytelling, visualizing, or modeling—words, pictures, and/or objects. Look for ways to disprove the idea or under what conditions might it not work. In this way, you can finds ways to strengthen the idea.）
