我的甜點進行時(2)

每星期我給公司員工做一次甜點,的確不是我的DUTY,而是我的PRIVILEGE。我感到自己很幸運有這樣的PRIVILEGE。。。

第五星期,我選一個有水果的甜點:RAISIN APPLE CRISP

8 c. sliced peeled apples (I use 8 tart apples)
3/4 c. raisins
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 1/4 c. whole wheat flower
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
3/4 c. butter, softened

Spread apple slices and rasins evenly in greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Combine brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg in bowl. Blend in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over fruit; press lightly. Beke at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until topping is crisp. Yield: 12 servings.

注:烤的時間稍微長了,CRISP有些太焦,下次改進。

第六星期,我結合上星期做CRISP的經驗,再做一次CRSIP。不過這次是我自己的RECIPE,自己起名:ASSORTED FRUIT CRISP



8+ apples, pears and orages (see picture)
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 c all-purpose flour
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 tsp baking power
1/2 c cold butter, cubed

Spread peeled and sliced fruits evenly in 9x13-inch baking dish. sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over fruits. Combine brown sugar, flour, baking power in bowl. Blend in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over fruit; press lightly. Beke at 350 degrees for 35 - 40 minutes or until topping is golden brown and fruit is tender. Yield: 12 servings.

這次做法和上次的一樣,隻是減少了SUGAR和BUTTER的量,並且注意BAKING的時間。



注:這個RECIPE做出來的很好吃,甜度適中。但不應放ORANGES。ORANGES不適合BAKING。烤過的ORANGE味道有些發苦。下次隻用APPLE和PEAR。
